Abstract

Lee and Chen (Fuzzy Sets and Systems 119 (2001) 205) introduced a generalized fuzzy linear regression model and proposed a nonlinear programming model to identify the fuzzy parameters and their vagueness for the generalized regression model. In this note, we show that the proposed nonlinear programming model is invalid.
