Abstract

This paper presents a kind of distribution support, component migration, which is not supported by the currently available component infrastructure such as CORBA, EJB. All this is done in scalable and secure way based-on ProActive Interposition Objects. The biggest strength of our implementation is that the details of migration are completely hidden from the application programmer. The potential importance of component migration is to gain improved performance and flexibility of distributed applications via dynamic load balancing and dynamic deployment of distributed applications.
