Abstract

This paper describes a system, which has the capability to analyzeand discover knowledge gathered from distributed sources. Thisautonomous system is implemented using the Growing Self OrganizingMap (GSOM), which is a dynamic version of the Self Organizing Map(SOM) and a multi agent communication system. The importantcontribution of this model is its ability to transfer localknowledge to acentral knowledge base referred to as a centralcontroller where the data is clustered and analyzed to identifysimilarities and variations. Central controller has the capabilityof transferring back its global knowledge to the distributedsources.
