Abstract

This paper presents the differences in several LISP definitions regarding the interpretation of various function types (EXPR, FEXPR, LEXPR, NEXPR). The definitions are compared according to their syntactic conventions for specifying the function type and method of argument handling--whether arguments are evaluated or unevaluated and whether their number is fixed or variable. A summary figure is given in the Appendix.
