Abstract

This paper introduces a set of laboratory experiments developed for a senior-level data communication course at Georgia Southern University. The goal is to enhance understanding of network protocols and their applications. The experiments are designed to provide rapid feedback and learning. Furthermore, students will have a clear view of issues associated with the design and implementation of protocols, simulation and performance evaluation techniques and packet analysis.
