Abstract

Ad-hoc networks can be formally defined as acollection of wireless mobile hosts dynamically forminga temporary network without the aid of any existingestablished infrastructure or centralized admission[1].The main focus of the paper is the extension to the QoSrouting procedure, which can inform the source qualityof service available to any destination in the wirelessnetwork. The Ad-Hoc On Demand Distance VectorRouting Protocol (AODV) is taken into considerationand an extension to the protocol has been suggested tosupport Quality of Service.
