Abstract

This paper presents a model for the expected throughputin a Bluetooth network in presence of a number of otherBluetooth networks that cause radio interference. The analysisconsiders unidirectional traffic and makes worst-caseassumptions on the effect of radio interference. In order toverify the model, simulation results are presented. The results from this work may be very useful when designingad-hoc networking functionality for future versionsof Bluetooth.
