We discuss and present a computer vision system that monitors a sitting baby of ages of 6 months old to one-year-old. The system tracks a baby's mouth and hands and alarms the guardians if it finds some objects in the baby's hand going towards his or her mouth. We useskin detection, grayscale based Sum of Square Differences (SSD) and template matching for tracking the hands and the head of a baby.
