With the increasing use of computers in many areas of society, there is a growing need for competent computer science educators at all levels of education. The need at the secondary school level is a most pressing one at the moment, one which might be met by the preparation of computer science majors in university colleges of education. A program at Bowling Green State University is described in this paper, a program which combines a broad computer science background with teaching experiences and education courses.
