Abstract

This paper explores issues related to cognitive load in the contexts of learning, information filtering, user modeling, categorization and personal information organizing behavior. We incorporate expertise from the fields of information science, educational psychology and computer science to report research that can ultimately influence the design of personalizedadaptive systems.
