The increasing number of multimedia applications hasmotivated the construction of platforms with end-to-endQuality of Service (QoS) support. This work proposes theuse of Wright architecture description language (ADL) inthe QoS provisioning domain, as the basis for the formalverification of QoS system properties. To smooth thistask, the LindaQoS domain-specific language wasdesigned as a high-level notation for the specification ofresource (QoS) orchestration. As a result of thisapproach, we expect that designers can define clear andunambiguous instantiated platforms, with support tomultimedia application implementations, in a reduceddevelopment time.
