Abstract

There exists distribution services of geographically-dependent contents to mobile nodes according to their locations. We propose the "Content Cruising System (CCS)" [2] to realize the form of a decentralized content-transmission system in real space. The system brings about the mechanism in which contents are transmitted autonomously, by adopting a simple transmission algorithm in P2P wireless ad-hoc communication.Estimated effectiveness of the basic transmission algorithm of CCS has been verified by a simulation with a set of assumed movement patterns of people in real space. However, the simulation is based on the assumption that all nodes may not move frequently making less changes to appear in the topology as we expect. In this paper, we examined the concerns of the "glued nodes" when CCS is used in conditions where topology changes do not occur frequently.
