Abstract

This paper describes an implementation of UNIX on top of anobject-oriented operating system. UNIX is implemented withoutmodifying the underlying mechanisms provided by the base system.The resulting system runs dynamically-linked UNIX binaries andutilizes the services provided by the object-oriented system.
