Most people agree that education is a kind of businessmodel whose merchandise is the teaching service. Still,in the recent years, the education industry has facedmore and more pressure of providing the customizedservice, or in other words, of "service-on-demand".Accordingly, we proposed a new distance educationmodel, "Knowledge-Point-Based and Goal-OrientedEducation Platform", to solve the problem. Thefeatures of this model are: (1). The teaching content iscomposed of "knowledge-points"; (2). Give eachstudent a special study program according to hisspecial demands; (3). Guide students to studyautomatically. In this paper, we will introduce themodel and the_architecture of the prototype system weare developing_now.
