An Effective QoS Control Scheme for 3D Virtual Environments Based on User's Perception

Recently many communication systems based on threedimensional spaces are proposed. In those systems, inorder to support many users in the same space, QoScontrol function based on the distance among the avatarsis mainly applied. For this reason, the computing andnetwork resources in the communication systems arewasted. In this paper, we suggest a new QOS control totake account of user's interest and status information inaddition to the distance among the avatars. Using thismethod, un-necessary communication and resources canbe reduced and more interested communication can beattained with higher priority in the large communicationspace.
