Mobile location estimation is a difficult task in wirelesscommunication. Many scholars resolve this problem by formulatinga suitable propagation model for the specific environment. In this paper1, the two layer Self-Organizing Mapand the Log-Distance Path Loss Model are used to build thecell-specific propagation model or the power map in the approximationphase. A well-trained power map can preciselyexplain the features and surroundings of a cell. In the recommendationprocess, power maps are prepared, mergedand an optimized lookup function is to estimate a correctposition.
