In this paper, we present a novel high bit rate LSBaudio watermarking method. The basic idea of theproposed LSB algorithm is watermark embedding thatcauses minimal embedding distortion of the host audio.Using the proposed two-step algorithm, watermark bitsare embedded into higher LSB layers, resulting inincreased robustness against noise addition or MPEGcompression. Listening tests showed that the perceptualquality of watermarked audio is higher in the case of theproposed method than in the standard LSB method.
