Abstract

Grid is becoming a new infrastructure for scientific computingand cooperative work, it becomes more importantand urgent to provide grid workflow to construct and managethe grid applications. The grid workflow based on dynamicmodeling and scheduling is presented, which consistsof user portal, resource management component, grid servicesmanagement, performance management, grid workflowengine, and its advantages cover the dynamic modelingaccording to changing grid running environment and dynamicscheduling adopting to the performance of grid systemby performance evaluation and optimization. Then theprototype implemented on the Globus is introduced. Finallythe experiments of genome sequencing based on shotgun algorithmare analyzed and the results are promising.
