Abstract

The overall aim of the BioSimGrid project(www.biosimgrid.org) is to exploit the Gridinfrastructure to enable comparative analysis of theresults of biomolecular simulations. In particular thispaper presents the implementation of currentBioSimGrid Web Portal. The portal has a SOA(Service Oriented Architecture) framework built on thelayer of OGSA (Open Grid Service Architecture) andOGSA-DAI (Open Grid Service Architecture DatabaseAccess and Integration) middleware. The PortalLibhas been developed to allow RAD (Rapid ApplicationDevelopment) of portal applications. The portal alsointegrates PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) andsupports two levels of distributed SSO (Single SignOn): Grid certificate-based SSO for high security, anduser/pass based SSO for maximal flexibility.
