Abstract

Steganography is art of hiding a secret media in anothermedia. One of the major challenges in steganography isrobustness, since the stego-signal need to survive multiplekinds of data processing. Low pass filtering, for exampleJPEG compression, is known as a common attack againststego-signal in image based steganography.In this paper, we present a new method of imagesteganography that is extremely robust against JPEGcompression while allowing error free informationextracting. The method is based on 2D lossless wavelettransform and convolution error correction coding.Experimental results show that hidden information can beretrieved with zero bit error rates even when the stego-imageexperienced maximum JPEG compression.
