Abstract

We revisit the Delsarte theory, shifting the framework from association schemes to coset geometries. When a group acts transitively on the underlying sets, this attempt broadens the category of designs and makes all the clearer the relation between combinatorial and algebraic structures of designs. As an application, t-transitive sets are constructed from the classical t-designs.
