A Metadata tools system and a Data Services systemare undergoing development and integration, at SandiaNational Laboratories, to provide web-based access tohigh-performance computing clusters and its associatedsimulation data. These clusters host a set of scalable post-processing applications for very large data manipulation, and the examination of results generated by high-fidelitysimulations in support of the design to analysis process forensuring safety and reliability of the nation's nuclearweapons stockpile. The primary subject of this work is theintegration of Metadata tools with a Data ServicesArchiving capability, resulting in a service-oriented andweb-based architecture, which provides end users theability from their desktops to manage and understandsimulation results for very large, complex problems.
