Abstract

Unlike SET (Secure Electronic Transaction)protocol. This paper proposes an ASEP (AdvancedSecure Electronic Payment) protocol, which uses ECC(Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem with F_2^mnot F_p ) [1, 2, 3],SHA (Secure Hash Algorithm) and 3BC (Block ByteBit Cipher) instead of RSA and DES. To improve thestrength of encryption and the speed of processing, thepublic key and the private key of ECC are used in 3BC[5, 6] algorithm, which generates session keys for thedata encryption. In particular, when ECC is combinedwith 3BC, the strength of security is improvedsignificantly. As the process of the digital envelopeused in the existing SET protocol is removed by the3BC algorithm in this paper, the processing time issubstantially reduced. In addition, the use of multiplesignatures has some advantages of reducing the size oftransmission data as an intermediate payment agentand avoiding the danger of eavesdropping of privatekeys.
