Automated negotiation is a key issue to facilitate e- Business. It is an on-going research area and attracts attention from both research communities and industry. In this paper, we propose a multiple-stage co-operativeautomated negotiation architecture, including asophisticated negotiation strategy and protocol, to resolvethe agents' conflicts. This proposed architecture attemptsto address the discovery of joint efficiency for thenegotiating agents in large and complex problem spacesusing a co-evolutionary method. A game theoretic methodis adapted to distribute the payoffs generated from the coevolutionarymethod. The architecture supportsinteractions between the two methods to demonstrate thathigh-quality solutions can be found through theircomplimentary functions. Using the structure it ispossible to refine and explore potential agreementsthrough an iterated process. This article also reportssome experimental results and discussions.
