Abstract

The Structured Systems Analysis Methodology is introduced and the requirements specification for a simple Information Management System is documented using Data Flow Diagrams and a Data Dictionary. The transformation of the structured requirements specification into a system prototype using the ADA package, task, generic, exception handling and separat e compilation constructions is described. The future development of the approach is discussed.
