Abstract

Software visualisation is the process of modellingsoftware systems for comprehension [6]. Thecomprehension of software systems both during and afterdevelopment is a crucial component of the softwareprocess [8]. The complex interactions inherent in theobject-oriented paradigm make visualisation a particularlyappropriate comprehension technique, and the largevolume of information typically generated duringvisualisation necessitates tool support.
