Abstract

Software architectural modeling is crucial to the developmentof high-quality software. Tool support is requiredfor this activity, so that models can be developed, viewed, analyzed, and refined to implementations. Thissupport needs to be provided in a flexible and extensiblemanner so that the tools can fit into a companyýs processand can use particular, perhaps company-defined, domain-specific architectural styles. In this research demonstration, we describe AcmeStudio, a style-neutral architecturedevelopment environment that can be easilyspecialized for architectural design in different domains.
