Abstract

LCGMiner (Levelwise Closed Graph Pattern Miner) isproposed to improve CloseGraph[CloseGraph: Mining closed frequent graph paterns] in discovering frequent closed subgraphs. Frequent closed edgesets with thesame extended vertexsets are expanded in pattern generationcompared to one edge or one vertex in traditional methods.Experiments on synthetic datasets as well as a realNIH dataset demonstrates that our algorithm outperformscloseGraph and gSpan.
