The following revised recommendation is a draft produced as a result of the February 1980 CCITT Study Group VII meeting in Geneva. This meeting closed the study group's study period and generated several new and revised interface proposals. These proposed recommendations will be formally approved in the CCITT Plenary Assembly in November 1980. The draft published here is the first pass by the X.25 editor to incorporate all the final points agreed upon in February. This document will undergo final editorial review and be published along with all Public Data Network recommendations as a white paper. They will then be translated into the official languages of the CCITT. An essentially technically unchanged version of this document is expected to be formally approved in November and then published in a new set of books (possibly Gray Books) about 6 to 9 months later.
