Abstract

The proliferation of wireless network-based products has ushered a new challenge to information technology educators, i.e., to produce graduates that are adequately trained to meet the demands of this rapidly advancing technology. This paper illustrates an attempt to address this issue and to augment the computing curricula with additional practical exercises. The design and implementation of wireless networks laboratory projects which are described in detail and the experiences that were gained on such experiments are presented.
