Teaching a System Administration course usually requires at least one practice system for each student. Using removable hard drives can be effective in minimizing the total number of computers needed. In this paper, we present an architecture for using Virtual Machine technology to simulate multiple computers on a single machine, as well as discuss how we plan to leverage this architecture for teaching System Administration.
