Abstract

There are many different types of clustering methods and techniques. Most of them have originated from the areas of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Most of the above methods and techniques do not scale. Presented in this paper is a unique method for identifying clusters of tuples in a relational database. This method, called Querying to Mine Clusters (QMC), comes from the area of databases and is scalable.
