Abstract

The proliferation and growing use of computers and information systems in organizations have changed the way people live --- in offices, factories, schools, libraries, banks, homes, and other facets of daily life. It has also generated an increasing demand for information systems professionals to manage and implement the technology. To avoid potential health hazards, it is essential that people understand the possible consequences of spending long hours with this new technology.
