Abstract

The IETF leadership needs to recognize that there is a good chance that IPv6 will never happen. The IAB should no longer be satisfied with simply labeling NAT solutions as UNSAF, because the commercial world just doesnýt care. Rather, it needs to start hedging its bets, and take a serious look at one of these NAT-based approaches as a valid next-generation architecture.
