Abstract

The current study conducted an in-depth analysis of the errors that experienced computer users commit when learning new software. Both a descriptive and explanatory analysis of the errors was performed in order to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the errors committed in the domain of human-computer interaction. The descriptive analysis enabled the identification of the types of errors committed, whereas the explanatory analysis investigated why the errors were committed.
