Abstract

Current search engines predictably return the same results for a given query, regardless of the user. However, different users often desire different information from searches made with identical keywords. The Web Host Access Tool (WHAT) project is an attempt to personalize Internet searching. Personalization is achieved through the use of a search context that is constructed through machine learning techniques.
