Abstract

Computer security has become an extremely important and well-acknowledged topic in computing, and many of today's students enter college with an awareness and appreciation of computer and network security. However, many of these students do not know specific details of how different security measures are implemented, and hence do not understand the strengths and weaknesses of each type of tool available to them.
