Abstract

We propose a software tool that supports the detection of plagiarism. The application domain of the tool are those cases in which a stylometric approach seems appears viable. The tool is language-sensitive. It takes as input two sufficiently long pieces of English text under the Hypothesis that they stem from different authors, and it raises a plagiarism warning in case that significant stylistic similarities in the two texts can be found.
