Abstract

Once the province of pure entertainment, video games have recently been recognized as useful vehicles for teaching. CyberCIEGE is a video game used to teach information assurance (IA) concepts. In the CyberCIEGE virtual world, students spend virtual money to operate and defend their networks, and they can watch the consequences of their choices while under attack.
