Abstract

Software agents, as a new computing paradigm, have proved to be useful in a diverse range of applications in e-business (especially in trading scenarios). As the computing landscape moves from the Internet to mobile communication systems, agent-based m-business are a field that needs further investigation to learn how far agent technology can be applied to automate m-business transactions. In this paper we present a model for agents as enablers for mobility engineering in m-Business applications, which spans over the organizational, business and technical dimensions of doing business over wireless communication channels.
