Abstract

Software project management is concerned with managing the resources and work activities needed to develop and modify software-intensive systems. The primary success criteria for software managers are delivery of systems that satisfy stated needs and requirements, on time and within budget. Goals for software project managers include better quality, increased productivity, and improved predictability of software development efforts.
