This paper describes the experience in using the Kennesaw Database Courseware (KDC), a database courseware intended to supplement the dominant textbooks, emphasizing and reinforcing concepts displayed in the animations. KDC is freely available at (http://coffee.kennesaw.edu). A more complete description of the project, can be found at [1--3] as well as at our web-site. The first section provides an overview of software's current stage. The second section provides the main educational advantages of using the software. The third section describes the weak points of the software as well as what we currently working on. The fourth section describes how the software is currently being used in a classroom setting. The last section summarizes the project. The work is the result of an NSF funded project (#0089412).
