Abstract

This article outlines the development of a distributed rendering environment at Purdue University, which faculty and students are beta-testing. The project's goal is to make distributed rendering environments freely available to faculty and students throughout the US. The design addresses several pedagogical paradigms that are critical for enhanced positive learning outcomes.
