Preparing a final examination in a modeling and simulation course is always a problem for me since I am never satisfied with the results. I am not certain if the students 'memorized' different terms and procedures or have a realistic view of the subject. Last year, I faced the same problem when teaching a fourth year-graduate course in conceptual modeling for the Computer Science Department at Hofstra University.
