Abstract

In this paper, we proposed three improvements on the traditional Active Shape Models, which make the Active Shape Models execute more accurate for face alignment. These improvements including: Group method for avoid creating distort shape; Best direction and extended width for search profile; Enhanced edge profile for special landmark points on the cheek contour of face shape.
