The issue of how to provide location-based service (LBS) is attracted many researchers. In this paper, we focus on a typical situation of LBS which is to provide services for users in cars that move in a road network. To provide such kinds of services, an integrated method for representing transportation information in addition to road map is proposed. Based on the datasets generated by this method, queries in LBS applications can be responded efficiently.
