In this tutorial, we present tools and techniques to quickly design and refine UI prototypes for software applications, web sites, and related systems. We emphasize early-stage, "low-fidelity" prototyping. We cover the advantages and disadvantages of UI prototyping in general, and of specific approaches, including paper prototyping, office software, and specialized software tools.
