Abstract

This article discusses why interactive TV hasn't succeeded so far. The author uses the outcome of this discussion to outline how we can provide viewers with wished-for experiences in peer-to-peer networks by making use of already existing technologies. In this context the author then critically analyzes the role of technology as well as the changing role of content providers.
