This article presents Sibyl, an AAC computer based system for people with severe motor impairments. The system is a virtual keyboard using scanning for key's selection. To allow faster typing, the system integrates linguistic knowledge which acts on two levels: first, a prediction of letters to facilitate access to letter, then a prediction of words to save the number of keystrokes.
