Abstract

Output multimodality consists in presenting information to the user in an "intelligent" way by exploiting different communication modalities. This presentation must be the most suitable to the interaction context. In this paper, we present a global architecture framework to support output multimodal systems design and more precisely mechanisms tailoring the information presentation according to the interaction context. Two applications of this architecture framework (mobile telephony and military avionics) are also presented.
